The evaluation will provide the GCF Board and Secretariat with an independent, evidence-based assessment of the implementation of the revised Readiness and Preparatory Support Programme strategy for 2024–2027. It will assess progress and results achieved under the revised strategy, the extent to which it is meeting its intended objectives and outcome indicators, and its effectiveness in enhancing the capacities of national designated authorities and direct access entities to programme and implement climate actions. The evaluation will also examine the effectiveness and efficiency of the programme’s operational approach, as well as the key factors influencing impact and sustainability.
