Event Summary
On 2 June, the IEU's Learning-Oriented Real-Time Impact Assessment (LORTA) programme hosted “Lessons from Impact Evaluations of Climate Change Interventions” as part of #gLOCAL2023.
The webinar introduced audience members to LORTA and shared findings from our engagement to conduct impact assessments of GCF projects with local and international partners. Participants walked away with a number of learnings on the impact of GCF projects and how this is achieved through effective collaborative arrangements, most notably how the LORTA programme increases the capacity of GCF accredited entities to conduct impact assessments.
The presentation featured Susumu Yoshida and Anastasia Aladysheva from the LORTA programme as well as Kriti Malhotra, Regional Coordinator from the World Food Programme and Joshua D. Merfeld, Ph.D., Assistant Professor at the KDI School of Public Policy and Management. The webinar closed with an interactive Q&A where online participants were able to ask questions.
