IEU to present gender evaluation synthesis at B.43

The Independent Evaluation Unit (IEU) of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) will host a side event during the forty-third meeting of the Board (B.43) to present the findings from the evaluation synthesis of the GCF’s approach to gender.

The evaluation synthesis consolidates existing evidence on how gender considerations have been integrated across the GCF’s programming and operations. It is an initial deliverable of a forthcoming independent evaluation of the GCF’s approach to gender.

The side event will take place on Wednesday, 29 October 2025, during lunchtime at IBS Tower (Room Songdo 1–2), with a webcast to G-Tower for observers. Lunch will be available at both IBS Tower and G-Tower.

The session will provide an opportunity for Board members, alternates, and advisers to discuss findings and reflections from the synthesis, as part of the GCF’s ongoing efforts to strengthen gender integration across its work.
