Green Climate Fund Impact Evaluation Standards
The present GCF Impact Evaluation Standards complement the broader GCF Evaluation Standards by defining principles and expectations specifically for the design, implementation, assessment and use of high-quality impact evaluations in the context of climate change interventions. The Standards are informed by international good practice and draw on lessons and approaches from impact evaluation guidance developed across the international development and United Nations systems. The target audience for these Standards includes those who commission, design, conduct, manage and use impact evaluations, such as the IEU, the GCF Secretariat, accredited entities, implementing partners, independent evaluators and research institutions.
