IEU Learning Talk

The Independent Evaluation Unit (IEU) will host a Learning Talk on the evaluability of GCF projects and programmes, presented by Susumu Yoshida, Evaluation Specialist.

Evaluability assessments examine whether GCF projects are designed to enable credible and robust evaluations. They review theories of change, measurable outcomes, and monitoring systems to ensure projects can generate reliable evidence and learning.

The IEU has so far completed three evaluability assessments, with a fourth forthcoming. This session will introduce the latest study and reflect on how evaluability reviews have evolved to strengthen accountability and performance across the GCF portfolio.
