United Nations Evaluation Group EvalWeek 2024

The IEU will take part at the United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG) EvalWeek 2024 taking place in hybrid form from 29 January - 2 February in Malaga, Spain.
The event will include five Professional Development Seminars, twenty Evaluation Practice Exchange (EPE) Seminars, and the UNEG annual general meeting. Evaluation experts from around the world will convene to exchange evaluation practices and discuss topical matters, including bringing evaluative evidence together for the SDGs, and enhancing synergies between audit and evaluation. The meeting will also offer an opportunity to review the work of three UNEG strategic objectives, namely (i) develop and safeguard professional norms, standards, and guidance; (ii) influence policy-making and operational work through evaluations; and (iii) enhance professionalization and capacity.
About UNEG
The United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG) is an interagency professional network that brings together the evaluation units of the UN system, including UN departments, specialized agencies, funds and programmes, and affiliated organizations. It currently has 50 such members and observers. UNEG's current operational strategies are outlined in the UNEG Principles of Working Together (PWT) (2022) and UNEG Strategy 2020-2024.
