LORTA Virtual Design Workshop 2021

In 2021, the IEU organized a 10-week long workshop as part of its Learning-Oriented Real-Time Impact Assessment (LORTA) programme. The workshop was designed to support selected accredited entities of the Green Climate Fund, project managers, and M&E teams to measure the impact of their GCF-funded projects. The workshop aimed to provide the participants with an understanding of the main approaches to different impact evaluation designs, the importance of developing a specific theory of change for each impact evaluation, as well as an introduction to how spatial data and behavioural science can be integrated in impact evaluations. It also introduced participants to sample size and power calculations, and timeline and budgeting for impact evaluations.
