LORTA Design Workshop 2025

The Independent Evaluation Unit (IEU) of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) held its 2025 Learning-Oriented Real-Time Impact Assessment (LORTA) Design Workshop from 14–17 October 2025 in Songdo, Incheon.
The four-day workshop brought together six GCF project teams from Malawi, Burundi, Rwanda, Senegal, Zambia, and Pakistan for hands-on sessions on designing high-quality impact evaluations. Participants worked with IEU experts and partners to refine evaluation questions, strengthen data collection plans, and embed real-time learning into implementation.
The annual LORTA workshop continues to support GCF projects in generating evidence on what works, for whom, and under what conditions.
