Webinar: Evaluating Approaches to Country Ownership Across Multilateral Climate Funds
This webinar is part of the Climate Finance Evidence Series, a joint initiative of four multilateral climate funds aimed at strengthening collaboration and knowledge sharing across evaluation offices.
The session focuses on approaches to country ownership in climate finance, drawing on recent and ongoing evaluations conducted by the Green Climate Fund, the Adaptation Fund, the Climate Investment Funds, and the Global Environment Facility. It examines how each fund understands and defines country ownership, how this principle is integrated into operations, and what evaluation evidence reveals about achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
The webinar will feature short presentations from each fund, followed by a question-and-answer session.
