This paper outlines the approach of the Independent Evaluation of the GCF’s Approach to Indigenous Peoples (IPs). This evaluation primarily aims to assess the relevance and effectiveness of the GCF approach to IPs. The evaluation will also investigate the effectiveness and benefits of the GCF portfolio and modalities on IPs and the extent to which the implementation of the GCF’s Indigenous Peoples Policy has guided such results. The evaluation will also assess the internal and external coherence of the policy.
