Yeonji Kim

Yeonji Kim is IEU's Evaluation Uptake Specialist with 15+ years of experience advancing climate action and sustainable development. She has worked at the intersection of strategy, evaluation, portfolio implementation and partnerships, helping turn evidence into stronger decisions and greater climate impact. She has conducted multi-country and multi-sector evaluations of climate projects/programmes and shaped organizational learning processes. Her earlier climate finance and policy roles at the UNFCCC Secretariat, UNESCAP, IFC and UNHCR, along with experience as an international news anchor at Arirang TV, give her a rare blend of policy, intergovernmental negotiation, analytics, executive communications and project/operational insight across regions. Her interdisciplinary background includes a Master’s in Public Policy from Duke University and a B.A. in International Development from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) summa cum laude.
