Sean Tan

Sean Tan is an intern with the Independent Evaluation Unit (IEU) of the Green Climate Fund working within the Learning, Uptake, Knowledge Management, and Synthesis (LUKS) workstream. He has over three years of experience spanning strategic communications, geopolitical research, and multilateral development finance, having worked across Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, and Osaka. He holds a master’s degree in China Studies (Politics and International Relations) from Peking University, specializing in international development cooperation and regional dynamics in the Asia Pacific. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Xiamen University Malaysia.
