Learning talk: Applying behavioural science for effective climate action: lessons for the GCF

To allocate limited resources effectively, the decisions of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) can be enhanced by learning from a robust evidence base. On 24 May, the IEU organized a learning talk to present the completed evidence review on the effectiveness of behavioural science interventions in promoting environmental and development outcomes in developing countries.

The event offered findings from an evidence gap map and a systematic review that found that feedback and reminders are effective behavioural science tools which should receive particular consideration by the GCF. The evidence review was completed alongside the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
