Professor of the Technology Management, Economics, and Policy Program in the College of Engineering and Director of the International Technology Professional Program at Seoul National University
Junseok leads the Smart City Global Convergence Program at SNU, which is funded by Korea's Brain Korea 21 (BK21) project, as a program director. He is dedicated to educating international technology specialists and smart city experts from around the globe. He received his PhD. in Information Science and Telecommunications from the University of Pittsburgh.

Tackling climate change and promoting sustainable development continues to grow globally in importance. Professor Hwang will discuss how Korean organizations, particularly higher education institutions, today are addressing the challenge of greener growth through the use of emerging technological innovations in the era of Digital Transformation (DX). Audiences will learn about the new SNU Smart campus in Siheung Smart City and the new GOING initiative (Global Open Innovation Networks and Groups), led by SNU and its innovative global partners.
