Issahaku Npoagne Tawanbu

Issahaku Npoagne Tawanbu is an Evaluation Intern at IEU working closely together with the QAR workstream. Before joining IEU, he worked with Tropenbos Ghana,  a network member of Tropenbos International (an international environmental NGO), where he worked on sustainable natural resources policy and governance, project management, stakeholder capacity building and advocacy. He also worked actively on international forest policy initiatives including REDD+ and FLEGT-VPA processes. His research interest is in sustainable development, political ecology/economy of the green energy transition and bio-economy, climate finance and environmental justice.

 

He holds  MSc. Natural Resources Management from KNUST, Ghana and Erasmus Mundus double MSc degree: MSc. Tropical Forestry and MSc. Forests and Livelihoods from Dresden University of Technology, Germany and the University of Copenhagen, Denmark respectively.
