On 19 January 2021 (16:00-18:00 UTC), IEU's Andreas Reumann and Archi Rastogi joined, as speakers and panelists, the Gobeshona Global Conference hosted by Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI).

This event brought together researchers, practitioners and supporters of Locally-led Adaptation Action (LLA) across different geographical regions on one platform to address the residual, unavoidable losses and damages from climate impacts.

In particular, designing a financing mechanism for addressing losses and damages from climate impacts will be discussed. 

IEU's Mr. Reumann and Dr. Rastogi shared the lessons learned from the IEU's recent evaluation of the relevance and effectiveness of the Green Climate Fund's investments in the small island developing States (SIDS).
