IEU at WFP Global Impact Evaluation Forum
Geneva
15 - 17 September 2026
The Independent Evaluation Unit (IEU) of the Green Climate Fund will participate in the Global Impact Evaluation Forum 2026: Improving Humanitarian and Development Effectiveness, to be held from 15 to 17 September 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland.
Convened by the World Food Programme (WFP), UNHCR, UN-OCHA and UNICEF, the Forum will bring together evaluation practitioners and development and humanitarian organizations to exchange lessons on how impact evaluation can strengthen programme effectiveness and decision-making.
At the Forum, the IEU will present evidence from the LORTA impact evaluation of FP101: Resilient Rural Belize, focusing on the project’s Backyard Gardens intervention and what the evaluation found about strengthening the resilience of smallholder households to climate-related shocks.
The IEU contribution will be presented by Andreas Reumann, Head of the IEU, and Susumu Yoshida, Evaluation Specialist, and will contribute to broader discussions on how impact evaluation can support learning and improve climate and development interventions.
