IEU Side Event at B.44: Impact Evidence on Forest Conservation and Livelihoods in Madagascar
Incheon, Republic of Korea
25 March 2026
The IEU will host a side event on the margins of the GCF’s 44th Board Meeting (B.44) titled “Endline Findings from FP026: Sustainable Landscapes in Eastern Madagascar.”
This session will present key endline findings from the impact evaluation of FP026: Sustainable Landscapes in Eastern Madagascar, conducted under the IEU’s Learning‑Oriented Real‑Time Impact Assessment (LORTA) programme. Drawing on panel data collected between 2019 and 2025, the evaluation examines the project’s effects on agricultural practices, household livelihoods, and resilience. The event will also feature reflections from Conservation International, the project’s Accredited Entity, on the implications of the evaluation findings for the design and implementation of similar landscape and livelihood projects supported by the GCF.
