The Green Climate Fund's Global Programming Conference took place from August 19th to the 23rd in Songdo, Korea. The week-long event aimed to serve as a starting point for high-level dialogue on country and entity programming with the GCF. The conference brought together over 600 stakeholders from developing and developed countries.

IEU's Dr. Jyotsna Puri (Jo) served on a panel discussion on catalysing innovation and mobilising investments at scale. At the session, she emphasized the relevance of the recently released Forward-Looking Performance Review to the talk and highlighted the importance of encouraging innovation in financial instruments as well as positioning the GCF towards being an innovation hub. Puri also highlighted the need to make behavioural science interesting and attractive again.

She was joined by the Seychelles Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change as well as representatives from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Acumen Fund Inc.
