GCF Shows Commitment to Learning and Becoming ‘Faster, Better, Smarter’
On April 5th, the first replenishment meeting of the GCF took place in Oslo, Norway.
The event was the first appearance for new GCF Executive Director, Yannick Glemarec, and brought together Board members and potential contributing countries. Head of the IEU, Dr. Jyotsna Puri (Jo), attended the discussion along with Daisuke Horikoshi, IEU’s Evaluation Specialist. During the meeting, the emerging areas that the IEU’s forward-looking Performance Review will focus on were presented. The participants welcomed the close alignment between the areas identified by the IEU and the Secretariat’s own assessment, noting that the IEU’s work serves as an important learning function for the GCF. IEU’s final report of the forward-looking Performance Review will be given to the GCF Board on June 30th.
