Impact evaluations

Projects

The LORTA team uses impact evaluation techniques to help project teams understand which activities are working, which are most efficient and which approaches to scale up. The team looks at specific learning objectives or components within a project to do this and this decision is based on a number of project-specific factors such as budget, timeline and feasibility.

To date, the programme has engaged with more than fifty (50) GCF-funded project teams, all of whom have benefited from capacity-building sessions and technical assistance in conducting impact evaluations. Twenty five (25) of these projects have been onboarded to the programme, equivalent to around 10 per cent of all approved GCF projects.
